This Is To New York City Angels. [+blueeyestrenchcoat]
Natasha hasn’t prayed in a long time. In fact, she can pinpoint the last time she did; as the house burned around her, the thunder of boots searching the house, cries of “Девушка, получить девушку” echoing in her ears. She had asked for help, and found none.
So when she sees the mission file, the angel Castiel, she fights the urge to watch the file burn away to ashes. That girl, the one who believed, is gone. Natasha has a job to do.
She’s waiting in the street, eyes on the vessel of the angel as it walks through the crowd. Following is simple, an accidental bump even more so. All she needs to lean over, muttering to him quietly. “Castiel. I have information for you. Can we talk?”
Castiel was in the city tracking a possible ghoul. He was walking towards a witness’s apartment when someone bumped into him and whispered into his ear. He glanced sideways, then nodded. He touched her forehead, flying them into the room he was staying in. He tilted his head. “What do you wish to speak about?” he asked.
Natasha stumbles slightly, looking around at the new surroundings. She’s unhappy at being caught off guard and she has to right herself as quickly as is possible. She turns her back to Castiel, blinking as she tries to right her mind. “Don’t do that again,” she bites out sharply, cursing the words as soon as they’re out. She needs to regain control of herself. “The being you’re after. It’s a trap.”
