If she was with HYDRA, she should be able to take care of herself.
Although, if you incontrovertibly certain that she needed protection, you could always request a protection detail. Putting a few holes through HYDRA skulls has to be better than dictation.
Well, you know me, Ms Romanoff. I don’t particularly see anything wrong in a few more HYDRA corpses. I’m aware she’s ah… pretty self sufficient. We all are. But HYDRA would know that. Strength is in numbers. How many do you think they’ll send to shove a poison capsule down her throat? Four? Five? Six? How many before she’s overpowered? And how badly do they want to prevent those secrets from being leaked?
I want the protection, because I want to send a message. They don’t win this time. There’s no unknowing what she gives us. And I’m happy using that knowledge as a weapon to shut them down… permanently.
Then consider me the first volunteer for the job.
Nothing like an unfair fight to show HYDRA just how weak they’re capable of being in the face of our agents.
