inheritorofmemories dropped in unannounced
Natasha smiles, raising an eyebrow. “I hope so. I can’t recall the last time I was quite this bored. I’ve been buried under a pile of paperwork for the past week.” She drums her fingers against the desk impatiently, before reaching for her coffee cup. “The lab? Anything I should know about?”
“I feel like the mountains of paperwork just get more impossible to get through.” A slow smile spreads across her face. “Nothing concrete yet, but there is something. I’m not working on it personally, but there’s a team working on modifying the mind-wipe, slash, memory plant tech. I’m not too sure what for.” Bobbi replied, knowing Natasha would find it as intriguing as she did.
Leaning forward on her desk, Natasha eyes the other woman curiously. “You know exactly what for, Morse,” she smirks, and it’s almost fond. “Why the hell are you not working on it? You’re one of the best they have down there.” She pauses, considering the trial - it could be infinitely useful. “Can you get me in?” She doesn’t necessarily want people rooting around in her mind - but it can’t be denied that she’s the perfect case study.
