Natasha barely hides a smirk at his words, coming back down the corridor and poking her head around the door. “Well, I suggest sending someone else to do the dirty work. That statement will sway him as little as it does me. Assuming he allows you time to speak first.” While her tone is perfectly casual, she can’t suppress a little chill of fear. The hospital fire was under his tutelage. She’s never been foolish enough to even attempt to oppose him.
“Yeah… Because the frst thing I’m gonna do is tell a dangerous terrorist I’ve got a kid and fiancee to watch out for so he can go and kill them, too.” He spoke, the sarcasm easily covering up his worry.
Natasha raises an eyebrow at the sarcasm, releasing her grip on the doorframe. “Alright then,” she answers, “If you’ve got it so under control, I’ll be off, shall I?
