“Counter Terrorism,” Natasha repeats, shaking her head. “It’s no wonder I’ve never made it down here.” As her eye alights on the screen in front of her, a profile filling the screen, she frowns. “What do you want with him?”
“I choose not to discuss my cases with those not involved. It… can lead to some messy consequences.” He explained, turning the screen away from prying eyes and bringing up his latest report instead. “Hardly professional behaviour.”
Natasha raises an eyebrow at him, expression otherwise impassive. “Are you accusing me of unprofessional behaviour, Agent MacMurray?” Her tone is perfectly level, but her mind is racing behind it. She needs more information.
