Natasha turns at the greeting, from where she’s been admiring a confiscated specimen. “Good evening. I’m here to extract information from an Agent Winchester… I can’t seem to find him.” Her expression is level, harmless to those uninitiated to the nuances of her moods.

“That would be because I am Agent Winchester. I’m currently under the effects of a grey face. It’s a bit of an inconvenience, but I’ll adapt. What information do you need, Agent Romanoff?” she asked calmly, keeping herself reined in as much as possible. There were simply some agents you kept a soldier’s persona around, and the Black Widow was one of them.

Apart from the slight tilt of her head in acknowledgement, Natasha remains unaffected by the news. “A pleasure, Agent. Your reputation precedes you. We have a field agent in containment and we need someone from Unnaturals to clear them for active duty.” Naturally there’s more to the story, but she still stuggles to disclose more than what is absolutely necessary.
